What is Kerala Blog Express?
Kerala Blog Express is an online blogging contest organized every year by Kerala Tourism, the state tourism department of Kerala. The blogging contest winners will get a two-week-long road journey from southern part of Kerala to its north. Every year around 25 to 30 travel bloggers from across the world get a chance to emerge as the winners in the blogging contest. The digital media influencers, travel bloggers, vloggers, photographers, lifestyle bloggers etc. will get a unique opportunity to explore and experience Kerala, God’s Own Country. The bloggers will share their real time experience to their followers through various social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
Now it is the 6th sucessful year. The trip will be flagged off today 21st March 2019 with 28 travel bloggers from 20 different countries will be visiting Kerala, God's Own Country. This year the Kerala blog express will have two phases. The first phase will be with foreign bloggers and the second phase will be with domestic bloggers. The group of travel bloggers will explore Kerala in a luxury bus that is equipped with cutting edge connectivity solutions to help them write real time experience about the during their journey in Kerala. The journey usually starts from Thiruvananthapuram. The bus will travel from Thiruvananthapuram to North of Keala for two weeks. During the journey, renowned travel bloggers will be writing on their experiences of Kerala with best Kerala tour packages, a trip of a lifetime.
The bloggers get first-hand experience of village life in Alleppey and Kumarakom. The bloggers will also get a chance to visit Kerala Kalamandalam and get introduced to the classic art forms of Kerala.
